Two Legacies
Why Paws Universe Began
Paws Universe Foundation did not begin from an idea written on paper. It began from the kind of loss that stays in the house long after a beloved dog has gone. Kaizer Sr’s passing left behind a painful truth for Dharmendra. His life was shortened by the absence of timely diagnosis, advanced treatment, and dependable veterinary infrastructure. Simba’s passing changed Rachna’s path in the same deep way. After losing him, she turned grief into daily responsibility for community dogs who were being ignored, abused, abandoned, or left to survive without safety. Two separate losses slowly became one shared direction. The pain was personal, but the purpose grew larger than memory.
Paws Universe Foundation was born so that dogs without families, dogs without names, and dogs without anyone waiting for them could still receive treatment, shelter, food, dignity, and the chance to live without fear.
